ADRIAN NIKOLAS PHOENIX  (is the name I use on my short fiction, for novels it's just ADRIAN PHOENIX)

I'm the author of The Maker's Song series: A Rush of Wings, In the Blood, Beneath the Skin, and the upcoming Etched in Bone AND the Hoodoo series, Black Dust Mambo and (in July 2011) Black Heart Loa.

I have an empty nest since my sons have grown and gone. One lives in Vancouver, WA and is in the band OUR OWN BLOOD and is the proud father of a beautiful and creative daughter. He and his partner are expecting another baby in October. On my birthday. YAY! My other son lives in Springfield (and works hard) with a gorgeous partner and two dog (my granddogs).

My nest isn't entirely empty since I have three feline companions, Amiga, Diabla, and Ember. They graciously share the house with me. LOL.

Pedal to the metal, never look back.
